A: Die-cutting uses a custom-made steel die to precisely cut labels into various custom shapes, such as circles, hearts, or brand-specific silhouettes. Compared to laser cutting, die-cutting is more efficient and has a lower unit cost for medium-to-large production volumes, while producing clean, smooth-cut edges. It is especially well-suited for highly brand-distinctive, intricately shaped custom labels, making it a mainstream finishing method that balances precision, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

A: Flexography is a printing technology that transfers ink from a raised-relief printing plate roller onto the material's surface. It is particularly well-suited for medium-to-long production runs that require high color consistency. Digital printing, by contrast, requires no printing plates and offers greater flexibility, making it ideal for small-batch, highly varied, or frequently changing content. Ching Teng introduced a professional Swiss flexo printing machine in 2017, which effectively resolves the uneven ink deposition and unstable ink volume issues common with mainstream label printing equipment, significantly improving quality consistency in large-volume production.

A: Hot stamping is a finishing process that uses high heat and pressure to transfer a metallic foil (such as gold, silver, or other specialty colors) onto the surface of a label or printed material, creating a shiny metallic texture. This technique significantly elevates a product's refinement and premium brand feel, and is commonly seen on health supplement gift boxes, liquor labels, luxury packaging, and holiday gift items. It can also be combined with embossing or spot gloss coating to create richer visual layers, making it a popular finishing choice for strengthening brand recognition and collectible value.

A: Yes. Ching Teng's printing equipment supports sequential serial number printing, allowing unique codes to be printed simultaneously during label production. This technology is widely used for product anti-counterfeiting traceability (distinguishing genuine from counterfeit goods), batch and production record management (facilitating recalls or quality tracing), and marketing promotions such as scratch-card prize draws — effectively improving product management efficiency and boosting consumer engagement.

A: Coated paper labels have a finely coated surface that produces highly saturated, vivid printed colors, making them ideal for packaging designs that require strong visual impact with an opaque background — commonly seen on food and health supplement outer packaging. Transparent labels, on the other hand, create an "invisible label" effect that lets the container's shape, contents, or existing design show through fully, making them suitable for products emphasizing texture and a minimalist style. Both options can be flexibly chosen based on brand tone and display needs.

A: Invisible ink is a special ink that is nearly imperceptible under normal natural or indoor light and only reveals its pre-printed pattern or text when exposed to a specific light source, such as ultraviolet (UV) light. This technology is commonly used in security labels to help brands verify product authenticity, and can also be applied in marketing campaigns — for example, hidden messages revealed only by scratching or shining a light on the label — to boost consumer engagement and brand recall.

In general, frozen products cannot be labeled or peal off easy because of a layer of ice crystals on the surface.
We can provide suitable matieral paper, plastic or thermal paper to use in the low-temperature environments or have been quick freezing.

A small white spot, somewhat noticeable, sometimes random or appearing in the same location repeatedly. This issue may arise due to broken printing plates or dust adhering to the printing plates. Basic requirements include cleaning the printing area and maintaining proper air conditioning. Conducting sampling inspections during the printing process can reduce the occurrence of such problems.

Ching Teng ensures consistent and stable color quality in printing, meeting the needs of our customers.

In color printing, registration refers to the method of aligning overlapping colors on a single image. Correct registration of these colors is crucial for producing clear images. Even a slight misalignment of one of the four colors can result in a blurry printed image. The image on the right shows an example of misregistration, with the white and purple plates not accurately aligned.

ChingTeng's professional prepress graphic design and printing technicians, combined with automatic registration systems, create the best quality labels to convey the quality of your products.

There are some common reasons why labels may not adhere well to your bottles, tubes, or plastic containers, such as bubbles, edge lifting, wrinkles, and poor adhesion. What causes these issues? The first thing that comes to mind for users is "label quality." But is this the only factor contributing to these problems? First, you need to determine the following conditions.

What type of containers will the labels be adhered to? Are the labels applied manually or with an automatic labeling machine? What are the environmental conditions where the labels will be used? Transportation and storage conditions also play a role, along with other factors depending on your specific requirements.

Check your containers.

Always inspect your containers. Surfaces should be clean, dry, free from dust, and grease. Containers that are frequently handled by hand are often the main culprits for poor label adhesion. Inconsistent or asymmetrical molding of plastic and glass bottles and containers can also lead to some label fit issues.

Consider environmental factors.

The problem is often not the label itself, but the environment. Cold or humid bottles make it difficult for the adhesive to adhere and set properly. These issues become more common with seasonal changes, such as lower temperatures and humidity in winter. Whenever possible, use labels in dry, room temperature conditions.
